On the hunt for a new haunt where you can enjoy free-flowing cocktails and bangin’ tunes long into the night? Look no further than Sarah Sands Hotel. This historic pub (it was first established in 1854) recently underwent a multi-million dollar makeover, before opening to the public in June. And while Melbourne’s sixth lockdown put a slight damper on the late-night festivities, now is definitely the time to pop on your dancing shoes and see what all the fuss is about.

Open late every Friday and Saturday night, upstairs at Bar 3056 is where the party’s at. This gorgeous space – which includes a light-filled atrium, plenty of greenery and an eye-catching mural by local artist Loretta Lizzio – is like an urban oasis, and makes for a lovely setting to knock back a fancy bevvie or two. Speaking of, there’s an impressive selection of spritzes, and the signature cocktail range is a showcase of native Australian ingredients (not only is the Davidson Plum Sour a taste sensation, it’s totally ‘grammable).

To kickstart the d-floor, a rotating roster of DJs will hit the decks from 9pm. The summer line-up is set to include artists like Westville, Jordz, Ryan J Bourke and Ill Eagle DJs, and if these guys don’t get you up and moving, we’re pretty sure nothing will.

So, hands up if you’re ready to have one epic night out? We thought so. Check out the Sarah Sands Hotel website for all the info you need.
