On the towering 55th floor of the Rialto, perched above Melbourne's city skyline, you'll find one of Melbourne's hidden secrets. Lui Bar – named by Time Out as one of the very best bars in the city – is replete with killer cocktails, overstuffed lounges and flouncy lampshades to boot. This extension of Shannon Bennett's lauded fine-diner Vue de Monde is all about slinging seriously good drinks with a side of high-tech bar wizardry – think sous vide machines and a Rotovap (the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere).

Order up a classic Negroni served over a hand cut sphere of ice or try a Mary Pickford with rum, Luxardo liqueur, grenadine, lime and pineapple juice.
