On the towering 55th floor of the Rialto, perched above Melbourne's city skyline, you'll find one of Melbourne's hidden secrets. Lui Bar – named by Time Out as one of the very best bars in the city – is replete with killer cocktails, overstuffed lounges and flouncy lampshades to boot. This extension of Shannon Bennett's lauded fine-diner Vue de Monde is all about slinging seriously good drinks with a side of high-tech bar wizardry – think sous vide machines and a Rotovap (the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere).

Order up a classic Negroni served over a hand cut sphere of ice or try a Mary Pickford with rum, Luxardo liqueur, grenadine, lime and pineapple juice. Head in for live jazz on Sunday afternoons or saddle up with some bar snacks and kick off the weekend in style. Lui Bar now also takes reservations for groups of up to 20.
