Port Melbourne's Colonial Brewing Co will be playing the Grand Final game live and loud on its huge projector screen. The brewery will also be pouring $10 craft beer pints, dishing out a special Grand Final menu and right after the final siren, a DJ will hit the decks to kick off the celebrations (or commiserations, depending on which side you're on). Half Moon
Half Moon will kick off game day festivities at 11am. Book your crew a spot in the bistro for a two-course lunch and don't worry you won't miss the game, which will be shown live throughout the venue. Lunch bookings will get a growler of Colonial beer and a bottle of Shiraz or sauvignon blanc. If you're after something a bit more casual, Half Moon will be cooking up some smoky barbecue meats in the courtyard. Stick around for post-game entertainment.
Penny Black
This Brunswick pub will be screening the game live in the beer garden. Fuel up during the game with something delicious from their new menu, then wash it down with $12 jugs and $6 house wines and spirits. Stay after the game for live music and DJs to keep the party pumping.
Live coverage at this South Yarra institution kicks off on plasma screens from 10am. The Botanical's barbecue will be firing all day and there will also be a tipping competition at the main bar. You'll also get drink specials and giveaways from Charles Heidsieck and Colonial Brewing Co. After the final siren stay on for the after party, with live entertainment running until late – the perfect place to kick on after the big match.
