Enjoy the festivities of hitting the slopes without leaving the city when the Imperial's rooftop transforms into an alpine village inspired by all the fun had at 1863 meters above sea.
Taking inspiration from European winter shenanigans, there will be warming drinks and hearty winter snacks, cosy blankets and plenty of heat from the 20-odd newly installed gas heaters.
Enjoy alpine treats like mulled wine, spicy hot toddies, bratwurst sausages, house-made cinnamon doughnuts, katoffelpuffers (German potato pancakes) and baked pretzels with beer cheese dipping sauce. Keep your eyes out for other winter cocktails, like the Whi-Ski Mallow, which sees whiskey infused with marshmallows. Also on Friday nights you can get a snap in the winter ski lift photo booth, or go into the draw to win a double pass to Victorian ski resort, Mt Buller.
