Its first beer, the Hightail Ale, remains a go-to but now shares a roster with the organic Steam Ale and a fruity Summer Ale that's made for tinnie-slinging in local parks on balmy afternoons. If you're hungry after all that beer tasting, they

If you're hungry after all that beer tasting, they also serve wood-fired pizzas along with their beers to keep you on an even keel. But the best part about visiting the Mountain Goat Brewery is probably the chance to score one of their Rare Breed, Barrel Breed and other limited edition brews that are often on sold at the brewery and a select few vendors. These hard-to-find Mountain Goat brews are the result of special projects the brewers have been working on: collaborations with other breweries, seasonal brews they've been perfecting, or even the odd hop experiment.

The brewery is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm, as well as Sundays from noon to 6pm. Brewery tours are free and run on Wednesdays from 6.30pm.
