The Precinct Hotel
Time Out says
This popular Richmond pub has received a fresh makeover from prime footy watching and week-round kick back conditions
The Precinct Hotel in Richmond has been given a new look and it's got all the ingredients for a great day and night out in Richmond. Just a stone's throw away from the MCG and Richmond station, the courtyard is made for afternoon footy sessions: there's a 2.5 metre-wide big screen to watch the game kick off, and the overhead heating and retractable roof are ready for whatever Melbourne's weather throw at you.
It's not all about the sport either. Weekly pub meal deals offer $15 lunch specials on weekdays, and $15 meals on roast night Mondays, steak night Tuesdays, parma night Wednesdays and burger night Thursdays. So if you've got a craving for a classic pub meal on any day of the week, you know where to go.
Every weekend the venue's dance floor heats up with a line-up of exciting live music and DJ sets. Every Friday night Melbourne band Mixxtape – which includes Jason Singh from Taxiride – will be rocking out into the weekend, which Metrik will be providing your Saturday night out with pop, rock, and party covers. Staying out late? DJ Johno will be cranking out tunes late into the night on Friday and Saturday nights.
