The larrikin pub lands in Melbourne
You maybe familiar with the Ettamogah Pub, a series of rather comical looking boozers dotted across Australia based on a cartoon pub illustrated by Ken Maynard. This new venture will see the the pub group take a different approach, creating a gussied up steak house in the center of the city.
Chef Nicholas Lecordier has created a menu that navigates pub favourites like eggplant parmigianas and a loaded beef and brie burgers, alongside top notch produce like Skull Island prawns, Humpty Doo barramundi and Great Southern Wagyu beef. The wine list sticks mostly to Aussie wines showcasing drops from the Yarra Valley, Barossa and WA, and they'll be stocking Ettamogah’s own range of craft beer.
