Meet at the Watering Hole
The GABS 2016 Beer, Cider and Food Festival is a place where (nearly) anything is possible: acrobats from the Yak Ales Carnivale will roam free, brewers will be releasing weird and wild beers to taste, and there’ll be a furry yak waiting for you to smooch. The yak is the perfect place to meet up with friends – you can't miss it, and once you're there, there's plenty to do, see and taste. Sip on your favourite beers (Lazy and Fat) and take a chance on some new brews, too. Plus, purchase any pot of Yak Ales and you could win some sweet prizes (of the fluffy and not-so-fluffy varieties).
Once you're ready to explore GABS further, why not join a Time Out Tour? We're making the process of navigating the festival easier by hosting special tours, where you can leave it to the experts to show you the best of the fest while sharing anecdotes about each brewery that you’ll visit. Naturally, you’ll visit the Yak Ales Carnivale and get insider knowledge into their craft beers. The Time Out Tours start every hour, with a maximum of 15 people per session.
