Love dancing to DJs in the sunshine? Good news: the ultimate Sunday session is returning for another season of day parties. Piknic Electronik 2017 kicks off on New Year’s Day and will finish up on March 19, 2017, giving us 12 glorious Sunday sessions over 12 weeks. Our new year's resolution is clear: we must try and go to all of them.

Last year’s event brought a host of international DJs to The Paddock at Federation Square. To name a few, Detroit techno head Kevin Saunderson and his son Dantiez, dubstep legend and Hyperdub founder Kode 9 and European producers Sonja Moonear and Sammy Dee kept the rhythms pounding until nightfall. 2017 promises another round of local and international guests, alongside some of Melbourne’s most popular food trucks and market stalls.

More details, including line up, location and ticketing information, are to follow.
