Last night, half a million Melburnians and tourists gathered in the CBD to feast their eyes on the city's $500,000 New Year's Eve fireworks display. Sure, we might not have Sydney's world-famous Harbour Bridge pyrotechnics spectacular – but we still know how to go out with a bang.
