Tram-endous news! Mr Burger is getting its own tram line

Once you've recovered from that terrible pun (credit to Mr Burger co-founder Maleik Edwards), imagine a tram line that not only takes you home from work or uni, but that will also serve you a full burger meal complete with fries and drinks. Mr Burger joins the until recently unrivaled Colonial Tramcar Restaurant by offering a whole meal service on tracks, and they'll take over one of the older B-Class trams from April 1 through to September.

Fitted with a functioning kitchen, the Mr Burger tram will be running along the number 8 all through April line through Moreland Station in Coburg, Carlton, the CBD, to Toorak. Hungry commuters can embark and order a cheeseburger at any point of the route, or order ahead of time through Mr Burger's online web ordering system. Best part is, you won't have to touch on if you're getting on for a burger.

The Mr Burger Tram will be running daily from 11am-11pm throughout April to September. Stay tuned for route changes after April.

UPDATE: Alright you got us Mr Burger. You got us good. The Mr Burger Tram is an April Fool's prank after, but let's be real here, it's certainly not all that far-fetched to have a burger tram in Melbourne. If the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant can do it, why couldn't Mr Burger?
