Time Out says

Join techno godfather Carl Cox for a long weekend bash

Dance music pioneer and techno stalwart Carl Cox will present his inaugural Pure electronic music event in Melbourne and Sydney this ANZAC Day long weekend in April. The British DJ, who now spends his downtime in his Frankston residence, along with fellow DJ/producer and Melbourne-local Eric Powell from Bush Records have chosen a crew of techno producers to present a taste of the local Australian and international scene that Cox is very much a part of.

Joining Carl Cox and Eric Powell will be Italian big hitter Joseph Capriati, who will be performing in Australia for the very first time at Pure. Format:B, who gave us the club anthem 'Chunky' last year, will be showing long weekend revellers why his tracks have gone off in party central Ibiza. And don't miss the so-called godfather of Australian techno DJ HMC (AKA Cam Bianchetti), who recently appeared in Berlin's infamous Barghain for four years in a row.

Supporting these techno stalwarts will be local supports Mike Callander and Scott Freedman.
