AfterDark Theatre will premiere the new season of its fresh show Society at the Melba Spiegeltent. The show is scored by live, original music and features an ensemble of international artists and performers. The adults-only evening comes direct from New Orleans' French Quarter, and revels in the nightlife of the Bourbon Street Circus.
Taking inspiration from NOLA, the night is centred around a lavish secret society party on Mardi Gras. The cast includes the likes of professional Latin ballroom and ballet dancers, a competitive gymnast, as well as Circus Oz and Flying Fruit Fly Circus alumni. They all fuse together breathtaking aerial stunts and acrobatics, alluring cabaret performances and gravity-defying circus acts, for an evening of high-octane fun that celebrates wild nightlife and debauchery.
