In August last year, Supersmall in South Yarra put on an OC party of epic proportions: we're talking life-size character cutouts, OC-themed cocktails, Phantom Planet's 'California' played on the hour, every hour, and of course, all the songs from the soundtrack that virtually defined the music taste of '90s kids who wanted to seem a little bit ~alternative~. On Labour Day Eve, Supersmall is re-opening the floodgates of nostalgia with another OC party. Grab your crew, dress up in your best early 2000s outfits (will you go as Marissa or Summer – or maybe stick on those eyebrows and go and Sandy Cohen?) and get ready to sip $10 Sethspresso Martinis all night.
Tickets start from $5 and guarantee entry. The best OC-inspired outfit will win a bar tab, and if the costumes from last time are anything to go by, there'll be some pretty stiff competition.
