Coronavirus has previously smited the attempts for Ali McGregor to perform encore performances of her Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night show. But like the little engine that could, she's back with a series of choose-your-own-adventure cabaret evenings that she's performing online (take that corona).
Choose Your Own Variety with Ali McGregor is, as it suggests, a choose-you-own-adventure digital performance where guests at home can choose what direction they wish to take their night.
During each episode, a top hat will appear at various moments. Click this top hat and you'll be able to access hidden content like bonus songs, musings, encore performances and stories.
Choose Your Own Variety with Ali McGregor premiered with a two episodes at the end of August, followed by a family episode to keep kids entertained during the spring school holidays. The online series will return on October 2 and 9 for two more episodes featuring guests like Claire Hooper, Dilruk Jayasinha, Nath Valvo, Jude Perl, David Quirk, Zelia Rose, Parvyn, Tina del Twiste, Jessie Lloyd and Tanzer.
