If you've never watched Netflix's addictive baking-gone-wrong competition show Nailed It!, then you may not be familiar with Nicole Byer. If you have seen it? Then you probably already love her.
The always affable host is a breath of fresh air on the comedy scene, and has appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, RuPaul's Drag Race, 30 Rock, Transparent and The Good Place. She also hosts several popular podcasts, but is arguably at her best performing stand-up.
Lucky for us, Byer will be making her Australian debut in 2020 with a stand-up tour, with one night at Melbourne's Athenaeum Theatre on May 5. If you've seen her special on Netflix's Comedians of the World, you'll have some idea of what to expect from the straight-shooting comedian's set; fearless, funny and maybe just a little bit fucked up.
