Bring the kids along to these free family-friendly comedy shows across two fabulous public stages

Enjoy world-class family entertainment and plenty of big laughs, for absolutely free. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is back in town and they're bringing some of their best physical and musical acts to Fed Square Main Stage on April 2 - 17 and Melbourne Museum Plaza on April 13 - 16. That's righteagle-eyed parents and carers, the dates align perfectly with the school holidays so you can add The (Very) Big Laugh Out to your child-taming plans.

Fed Square Main Stage shows run for 90 minutes on Fridays at 5pm and 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Acts include Clara Cupcakes, Double Denim, Don’t Mess With The Dummies, Geraldine Quinn, Die Roten Punkte, Patrick Collins, The Listies, Dolly Diamond, Garry Starr, Josh Glanc, Anna Pocket Rocket, Hayley Hoopla, Vidya Makan and more.

For the Melbourne Museum Plaza iteration you can pop in on Tuesday to Friday at 12pm for a 50 minute show. Catch slapstick specialists 5 Angry Men with The Bells for an outdoor theatre experience combining physical comedy, music, dance and live art for a captivating family show.
