Sydney's notorious pack of political satirists behind the smash hit The Gospel According to Paul are continuing their yearly tradition with another razor-sharp comedy revue in 2024. This time, The Wharf Revue will be bringing the laughs to Union Theatre this February, with a hilarious riff titled Pride in Prejudice.
The Wharf Revue has been entertaining audiences across the country for more than two decades, so you can trust that this year’s offering will be nothing but hysterical. Writers Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Philip Scott are well-versed at sticking the boot into Australia’s most well-known politicians, including Anthony Albanese, Tanya Plibersek, Jacqui Lambie, Joe Biden and Peter Dutton.
The comedic cast, featuring Biggins and Forsythe, along with Mandy Bishop, David Whitney and Michael Tyack, will take down these richly deserving targets, riffing off shows like Q&A and Play School. It’s guaranteed to be a night of endless laughter, regardless of your political persuasion.
Pride in Prejudice will play at the University of Melbourne’s Union Theatre from February 12-24 and you can get tickets for $70 here.
