Celebrate and honour dance artists, educators and and choreographers at the Australian Dance Awards

Dance lovers, get your tickets to the Australian Dance Awards gala night, a celebration of creative movement that is a highlight on the dance industry calendar. Dancers, choreographers and educators will be awarded for their creativity and dedication to their art forms, with an awards ceremony at city's preeminent performance hub, the Arts Centre Melbourne.

Performances on the evening included excerpts from some of the year's best shows including Sleeping Beauty by the Australian Ballet, Pile of Bones by the Stephanie Lake Company and Quark by youth dance ensemble Yellow Wheel. They'll be joined by performances by hip-hop group Raw and Rugged Dance Crew (who were ranked 14th in the 2017 World Hip Hop Dance Championships), Sydney company Murmuration, the Lehenda Ukrainian Dance Company, and the all-female Wurundjeri team Djirri Djirri Dance Group.

With disciplines ranging from classical ballet to hip-hop and performers aged 15 to 75-years-old, the evening will be a true representation and recognition of Australia's awe-inspiring dance scene.
