A night at the ballet is always a wonderful thing, but the best nights out don't start when the curtain rises and end when it falls. That's why the Australian Ballet is throwing a special party attached to its June 20 performance of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
It's called the Queen of Hearts Social Club, and Her Majesty (aka Melbourne drag queen Philmah Bocks) kindly requests your presence in the Amcor Lounge at Arts Centre Melbourne. She'll be in charge of pre-show and interval entertainment for all social club members, and keep the party going with a complimentary arrival drink, photo opps and, of course, a lavishly staged production of Lewis Carroll's classic tale. The festivities kick off at 6.30pm, with a 7.30pm performance.
Tickets for the social club are $150 or just $100 if you're under 30. The social club seating is B-reserve in the stalls.
