Time Out says

Looking for a cinema experience that’s a little more off the grid? New for 2018 is Campout Cinema, an immersive outdoor cinema experience located on 200 hectares of bushland in the heritage-protected Trawool Valley.

You’ll find Campout Cinema about 80 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD at Bush Hideouts, a bush camp set up along the Goulburn River. For one night only, punters will be able to watch films under the stars. On Saturday, December 1 from 6pm until midnight, Campout Cinema will be showcasing a double bill of old-school Australian cinema with 1971 outback classic Wake in Fright and 1978 horror film Long Weekend.

Cinema buffs can come along, enjoy the double feature and camp for the night. Food trucks and a full bar will be set up and there will be popcorn available to make this a like a true summer campout.

Tickets to watch the film only are $20 each, but if you’d like to stick around for the after party and camping, it’s $45.
