Melbourne’s most tight-lipped cinema experience is returning – and this time we’re stepping into a secret kingdom.
Underground Cinema has been in the live cinema business for years now and during their time they’ve managed to recreate more than 30 film-inspired worlds. Attending an Underground Cinema event is like walking onto a film set: there are actors in costumes, props galore and yes, even an onsite bar.
As per every Underground Cinema event, the location and the film's identity are kept a mystery in the lead-up to the event. The clues for this month’s screening are as follows: the genre is fantasy, you’re encouraged to dress in your best medieval garb and you’ll need to bring “your will to conquer”.
Tickets for screenings through July were previously sold out, but the team behind Underground Cinema have just released a bunch of extra tickets and launched a couple of other sessions so you can get your medieval fix.
The question remains though… what film will be screening? Maybe Princess Bride? Robin Hood? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
