Time Out says

Named in the memory of Richmond's beautiful old arthouse movie theatre (which later moved to Westgarth), Vahalla Social Cinema is a volunteer-run pop-up that's a labour of love. It runs fortnightly out of Electron Workshop's co-working space, and specialises in lost classics, kitsch cult flicks and neglected titles. It's cosy and creative film viewing with a retro feel – and you can seal the deal with choc tops, craft beer and popcorn.

The last screening of 2014 is on November 28, then they'll resume in mid-February. Join their mailing list – by emailing join@valhallacinema.com.au – for one-offs over the summer period, though. They've also ceased their drive-in sessions – held at Genovese Coffee – for now.
