This is not your traditional staid, calm storytime. Instead, three drag blokes, Mark, Keith and Gavin, bring three kids' books to life through song, puppetry, dance and lip-syncing. It's an inclusive event designed for rainbow and gender diverse families, kids, adults or just about anyone.
Keith, Mark and Gavin are part of queer theatre troupe Po Po Mo Co (Post-Post Modern Comedy), who are committed to "creating neo-vaudevillian physical comedy through a queer lens".
During storytime, the three blokes will turn picture books into a theatrical experience with high-energy physical comedy. The performance will take place at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
