Kids love zoos. And zoos love kids – at least at Melbourne's zoos. This Easter school holidays Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo will host their Wild About Play program with lots of fun activities to keep kids entertained over the break.
At Melbourne Zoo the Keeper Kids activity zone gives children the chance to dress up and try out what it's like to work at the zoo with role playing zones for junior vets, horticulturists, researchers and zoo designers. Splash on over to Healesville for some creek play or unleash your child's inner monkey at Werribee's low ropes course for kids.
Families will also be able to track their zoo adventures using the Wild About Passport to share with friends. Entry to the children's play zones at the three zoos are free with entry – and kids enter for free throughout the school holidays.
