The Islamic Museum of Australia is dedicated to highlight the artistic and cultural heritage of Muslim Australians and Muslims around the world.
The museum has five permanent galleries – Islamic Faith, Islamic Contributions to Civilisation, Art, Architecture and Australian Muslim History – as well as temporary exhibitions.
It hosts talks, lectures, film screenings and other public events as well as the art and artefacts.
