Celebrate Brunswick's new performance venue at this two-day gala

Brunswick's newest performance venue is officially opening and to celebrate it's throwing a big old party. And, because Brunswick Ballroom's Opening Gala is so big, it can't be contained to one night – it's going to taking place over March 4 and 5.

Hosted by Eddie Perfect and Margot Tanjutco, the gala is a love letter to Melbourne's recovering arts industry and has lined up artists to perform that span music, cabaret and comedy. The gala will feature jazz singer and cabaret queen Mama Alto; Indigenous singer and songwriter Jess Hitchcock; actor Bert La Bonté; writer and performer Ash Flanders; singer and composer Vidya Makan; and comedian and singer Jude Perl.

Brunswick Ballroom is located in Metropolis House on Sydney Road in what locals will remember as music venue the Spotted Mallard. Just like the opening gala line-up, Brunswick Ballroom is a multi-disciplinary performance venue hosting everything from music to cabaret and comedy.

Tickets can be bought for the gala performance only, or for dinner and the performance (the ballroom wants to be somewhere you can stop in for a meal and drink and see a show).
