Time Out says

If you’re among one of the thousands of Aussies who’ve spent a working holiday in London, no doubt you’ll be familiar with Fabric. The famous (or should we say infamous) venue is like the godfather of London clubs, with Time Out London calling it one of the city’s “clubbing landmarks”.

Clubbers and expats alike will be pleased to hear that this granddaddy of nightclubs is grooving into Melbourne for one night only this December. Fabric is teaming up with local boutique music agency Novel for a night of sonic debauchery in the Paddock at Federation Square.

This is the first time Fabric has visited our great southern land, and leading the antipodean trip will be longtime Fabric DJ and techno beast Ricardo Villalobos. The Chilean-born German artist is legendary for his extended sets that mash together house, techno and trance.

Joining Villalobos is weekly Fabric resident Craig Richards, distinct dance DJ Matthew Jonson and multi-talented DJ and label owner Bobby. The one-night-only set will also feature local acts. Tickets are on sale now.
