Aine Tyrell, James Hampton, Cara Robinson from Hat Fitz and Cara, Chris O'Keefe, and Losumo from Bonewoman are performing a gig to support the Repeal the 8th campaign in Ireland.
Just what is the 8th? The title refers to the eighth amendment to the Irish constitution, which outlaws abortion in all cases. A campaign is gathering pace in Ireland to repeal the amendment and legalising abortion, and Australian group Irish Pro Choice in Oz has been raising money to support the cause.
This event is one of the last fundraisers, and all proceeds will go to the Repeal campaign.
