Time Out says

Some of the Port Fairy Folk Festival's favourite local artists are putting on a night of livestreamed music

It was sad news indeed to learn that, in light of current circumstances, the Port Fairy Folk Festival would not be going ahead in 2021. But music has a power that neither man nor beast nor virus can stop, and Port Fairy Folk Festival (in partnership with Geelong Arts Centre) has announced a special livestream performance this spring.

Home Folk brings together three top regional musicians (and regulars at Port Fairy Folk Festival) for a free evening of livestreamed music. Sal Kimber, Fenn Wilson and Van Walker will each play 30 minute live gigs from the Geelong Arts Centre stage on Friday, October 9, with the sets beamed out into the world for all to see.

The Home Folk livestream can be watched live via the Geelong Arts Centre website or its Facebook page. Tune in at 8pm for the free livestream. The Port Fairy Folk Festival will return for its 45th event in March 2022.
