[Sponsored] Listen up – Orchestra Victoria is hosting an eight-day music festival in Bendigo

Orchestra Victoria is bringing eight days of music to the Bendigo region this August. From August 11 to 18 the city will buzz with the sounds of the Orchestra Victoria Bendigo Festival. The eight-day festival will feature 17 concerts (several of which are free) across venues in the city.

As well as offering a chance for locals to hear some great chamber music concerts, the Orchestra Victoria Bendigo Festival will host educational events and musical pop-ups. More than 80 musicians from across the state will be taking part in the festival, including a number of young, aspiring musos who will rehearse and perform with professional musicians in the festival event On the Move!.

Highlight events throughout the festival include a performance by Orchestra Victoria's brass ensemble, an opera-inspired chamber music program and screening of Florence Foster Jenkins, and the festival's closing concert Love and Hate (which will feature the winner of the Menuhin Competition, ten-year-old Christian Li).

While most of the festival events are free, you will need to buy tickets for the following events.
