Time Out says

The 'In the Air Tonight' singer will be in Melbourne in February

Former Genesis drummer and torch song aficionado Phil Collins is coming to Melbourne in February 2019, as part of his Not Dead Yet tour.

He's best known for songs like 'Another Day in Paradise', 'In the Air Tonight', 'Sussudio' and 'One More Night', as well as the soundtrack to the smash-hit Disney movie Tarzan. 'Against All Odds' has become one of the most recognised and beloved torch songs of modern times and is this subject of this excellent podcast about heartbreak.

Collins was the drummer for English pop band Genesis from 1970-78 and went solo in 1978. The 67-year-old has been performing for more than 40 years, but that doesn't mean he's slowing down. His Not Dead Yet tour sold out all five Royal Albert Hall shows in London in a whopping 15 seconds, and he also sold out five arena shows in Germany and five in France.

He's in Melbourne for one day only, February 1, 2019. Maybe Phil Collins still can't dance, but he sure can sing, so make sure you get your tickets as soon as they go on sale on Sepember 5.
