As part of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, label Wondercore Island is hosting The Cave, a multi-disciplinary creative hub of improvisation featuring DJ and live music performances across two stages. Headlining the musical component will be local producer Silentjay who will bring along a seven-piece band, while improvisational Hiatus Kaiyote side-project Swooping Duck will play with special guests. Brisbane-based underground garage/jazz band Superfeather will also grace the stage along with experimental trio Vulture St Tape Gang.
