After a stellar inaugural year, this one-day boutique festival blooms again in December

Last year, a host of great local acts took to Catani Gardens in St Kilda for the first iteration of The Pleasure Garden – an immersive music and arts festival that blends live music with visual art and performance. The day will be filled with live music, carnival rides and boutique food and drink options.

Topping the bill this year is New Zealand seven-piece dub, reggae, funk and soul outfit Fat Freddy's Drop, playing their own Victorian show this summer. Fans of Aussie singer-songwriters will froth over the chance to see Sydney alt-pop artist Montaigne unleash her powerhouse vocals live, and hip-hop lovers won't want to miss Melbourne rapper Remi.

The first-round line-up is below.

Fat Freddy’s Drop
L-Fresh The Lion
Chant Down Sound
Thankyou City
Willaris. K
8 Foot Felix
