The British trio will be taking their first Australian headline tour since 2013 and Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl is their first stop. The all-ages outdoor show will include tracks from their Mercury prize nominated album I See You. Special guests Kelela and Earl Sweatshirt are in support.
The band are also donating $1 from each ticket sold will go towards a LGBTQIA support program in each of the tour cities.
Update: The Sidney Myer Music Bowl show has sold out, but the xx have announced a second show at Forum Melbourne on Sunday January 14. Proceeds will split between two worthy Australian charities; Heaps Decent (who support young artists from marginalised communities) and Minus 18 (who help LGBTIQ youth). Tickets to this second show go on sale Thursday December 21 at 12pm, with pre-sale starting on Tuesday December 19 at 2pm. Book through the Frontier Touring website.
