Update Wednesday, April 16: As predicted, Mother Monster has graced Melbourne with a second show. The news comes off the back of huge demand for tickets, with fans exhausting early presale allocations. Another round of presale begin today at 11am, with general tickets going on sale tomorrow (April 17) at 12pm.

Alert the paparazzi! Cue the applause! Lady Gaga (aka our queen and saviour of pop music) is bringing her much-hyped Mayhem Ball to Australia, with Melbourne up first. This is the moment all Little Monsters have been waiting for – it's actually been 11 long years since Gaga was last in town, as part of 2014’s ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour.

The huge tour announcement comes off the back of the release of Gaga's newest album, Mayhem, which marks a return to her pop roots. It's Gaga's seventh consecutive number one album (slay) and features the hit singles 'Abracadabra', 'Disease' and 'Die With A Smile', her collab with Bruno Mars. Will she play all these bangers and more when the Mayhem Ball rolls into town? We'll just have to wait and see.
