Nothing breaks like this news: Miley Cyrus is coming to Melbourne to headline the World Tour Bushfire Relief Concert.

This unashamedly wild and wonderful pop-country singer announced on Monday, February 24 via her Instagram that she would be headlining the benefit event taking place at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park on Friday, March 13 as part of the Australian Grand Prix.

Cyrus, of course, shot to fame playing a double life in Disney Channel show Hannah Montana before striking big as a solo artist with hits like ‘Party in the USA’, ‘The Climb’, ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’. The international pop star will be joined by ‘Old Town Road’ singer Lil Nas X; deadset Brisbane pop legends the Veronicas; and UK house DJ Seb Fontaine.

To help with bushfire relief efforts, all proceeds from ticket sales will go towards “charities working to restore forests, wildlife and communities affected by the devastating bushfires”.

Tickets for the World Tour Bushfire Relief Concert go on sale Tuesday, February 25 at 2pm. Visit the website to find out more.

You can now try deadlifts and death metal exercise classes in Melbourne.
