Time Out says

Slurp on some bucket cocktails and boogie under the neon lights

Refined Thai-inspired cocktail bar Longsong is bringing Thailand’s famed Full Moon celebrations to the Melbourne CBD, giving you the chance to immerse yourself in the experience without having to book a single flight or renew your passport.

The free monthly party will see Longsong’s ceiling dotted with flickering lanterns reminiscent of the streets of Thailand, joined by fluoro paint, cocktails and snacks alongside DJ taijaee and entertainer and host Gloss the Queen seeing the party out all night long.

The Thai-themed cocktail buckets will be mixed by Longsong’s bartenders, with a choice between a Long Island Iced Tea or a Phuket Pash. Street snacks on offer include chicken skewer bites with sweet fish sauce, fries with Tom Yum salt, and brioche rolls with prawn, sriracha mayo and pickles.

The first party kicks off at 5pm on Friday, August 12 and will continue once a month, following the lunar phases.

Entry is free, book here to secure your spot
