8th Nerve café is run by a proudly deaf owner, Warren, who lip reads orders. The café’s name actually references one of twelve cranial nerves that transmits sound and equilibrium signals from the inner ear to the brain. It's a friendly, retro-styled little joint offering all the café classics and beans from New Zealand's favourite roaster, AllPress. Hit 'em up for something carby from Noisette bakery. They're stocking a golden mountain of flaky pastries and sourdough baguettes, here filled with the likes of a zesty herb cream cheese and coral waves of smoked salmon.
