Belle's Hot Chicken has flown over to Windsor, where they've transported their fried chicken and natural wine combo to Chapel Street. The vibe down south is more bar than restaurant; the booths have been replaced by regular tables (and some partition if you do prefer the privacy), and a bar with counter eating takes pride of place. Diners are likely to stick around after smashing a few drumsticks, and the natural wine list certainly encourages it.
Wines are no more than $12 a glass, and there's Melbourne Bitter on tap if that's how you roll. Look out for the Windsor special: chef and owner Morgan McGlone's cooked up a quail dish inspired by his stint on MasterChef.
