Brighton Schoolhouse

Owned by Mark and Attil Filippelli, Adrian and Rebecca Ciorciari, and Hawthorn footballer Josh Gibson, Schoolhouse reopened its doors in October. It was in fact an actual schoolhouse in a past life, but now this church adjacent building is a large, sprawling café, with plentiful indoor seating and a large table setting on the front lawn - hello impromtu garden party. Although the exterior of the building looks every bit the traditional schoolhouse, inside hand painted murals suggest coffee, cake and a chat rather than reading, writing and arithmatic.
