Time Out says

Our favourite brother's Wagyu burgers are heading southside. Follow them

Burger fans, rejoice: your mates at Brother Burger and the Marvellous Brew in Fitzroy are unleashing a second shrine to Wagyu burgers and craft beer in South Yarra. You can get your meat fix in what was once Café Greco from 6 May.

Owner Marcelo Tummino (founding partner of The European and Melbourne Supper Club) says: "We’ve had customers travelling from the Southern suburbs to Fitzroy for our burgers for years now, so we thought we’d bring the burgers to them. It’s exciting to be a part of the evolution of Chapel Street’s food culture – we want to create a sense of place, somewhere everyone is welcome, from big family dinners to first dates.”

Tummino has decorated the space with knick-knacks sourced from eBay wins and rural rummaging in sheds and paddocks. The fitout features recycled materials, loft-style windows, red leather booths, a metal-panelled wall and more than 800 vintage meat grinders from Tummino's collection. You'll be able to watch chefs pressing patties and baking buns in the open kitchen; other items to look out for include Reuben sandwiches, fish and chips, pulled pork buns and salads.

On the brew side, there will be 15 taps, showcasing beers sourced from independently owned Australian craft breweries and cider houses. Chap Laps: soon to be tastier.
