East-siders flock to this Tex-Mex establishment for old school classics like chile con carne slathered with red Mexican rice and refried beans or massive ‘enorme Mexico’ combination plates stacked high with meat and cheese filled tortillas - absolutely not Heart Foundation approved. With the average price of a taco at around $6 it’s not hard to see why this is a popular spot, just be prepared for a bit of an Old el Paso vibe. Remember to BYO if you’re not into Jacob’s Creek - it’s the only wine on the list.
