Time Out says

Looking for a way to treat Dad this year? Gazi's souvas and meats from the spit are looking pretty damn good

Deciding on the perfect way to spend Father's Day with your dad isn't easy – but don't fall into the trap of going to the same old pub or restaurant. This year, there's nowhere better to treat Dad than at Gazi: George Calombaris' casual Greek diner, right in the middle of the CBD.

Why, exactly? Well, there's the meat (oh, the meat!) for a start: we're talking pork belly with apple skordalia and walnut dressing, Angus steak with salsa verde or even some slow-braised lamb shoulder with feta and onion stifado. For a gourmet take on the classic, you've got to try one of the souvlakakia (small souvas): choose between chicken (with chips inside!), beef, cheese, duck, or the people's favourite, soft shell crab.

And that's just grazing the surface. Head to Gazi's website for the full menu, and call to make your booking now for lunch or dinner. Dad will be so proud.
