Time Out says

This smoky late-night barbecue joint is a refreshing addition to Brighton's food scene

Brighton is usually associated with its colourful boxes, beaches and cafes, but Coal Blooded Griller is a barbecue restaurant and bar adding a dimension of smoked meats, hot sauce and burgers to this seaside slice of Melbourne.

Founder of Changz Hot Sauce, Josh Monterio, has created a menu revolving around a custom-built barbecue pit with a rotating roster of smoked meats, burgers on locally made milk buns and sides like Buffalo wings and grilled corn loaded with a coriander butter. Drinks like pickle backs and jalapeno popper-loaded Bloody Marys sit comfortably next to a range of local beers, turning a quick hit of barbecue into a late-night party.
