You spoke and the accomplished pastry chefs at the Langham Hotel listened – they've incorporated Melbourne's favourite flavours into their extravagant desserts. Over the next four nights, they're transforming the dessert buffet by taking time-honoured classics (cupcakes, eclairs, macarons and tiramisu) and giving them a flavoursome twist: Thursday night is guided by the good old Aussie Tim Tam; Friday explores the choc-hazlenutty goodness of Nutella (with a little imagination, you can kid yourself that its a health food – nuts are good for you, right?); Saturday is a caffeine shot with Vittoria coffee-flavoured dishes; and Sunday wraps itself up in the velvety embrace of Baileys.
Enjoy the Langham's famous buffet, but make sure you save room for the Lindt choc fountain and the curious, but totally delicious M&M naan bread topped with Connoisseur icecream.
