The Sofitel Melbourne on Collins will be marking La Fête Nationale – AKA Bastille Day – by showcasing one of French cuisine's most delectable treats, the éclair.
Executive pastry chef David Hann will be dishing out decadent platters of the famed Parisian pastry at Sofi’s Lounge (located on the ground floor of Sofitel Melbourne On Collins). You'll get to work your way through six éclairs, filled with lemon meringue pie, chocolate and raspberry, pistachio, mango and passionfruit and violet with vanilla and Nutella (for the non-traditionalists).
The tasting platter is $24 and includes espresso coffee or loose-leaf tea for up to three guests. Available only to the first 50 parties on Friday July 14 from 9am to 5.30pm. Bookings are essential.
