Feast of Merit

Time Out says

Good news, socially conscious snackers: this restaurant is created by entrepreneurial poverty-fighting organisation YGAP, where all profits go towards youth education projects in Australia, Asia and Africa. That means you're doing good just by raising fork to face at Feast of Merit. The name references a feast celebrated in North-Eastern India, which typically involves erecting stone or wooden monuments and sacrificing a large cow. Expect a Middle Eastern-cum-mod-Oz menu spanning breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks made even more inviting by head chef Ravi Presser’s dedication to locally sourced ingredients.

This venue welcomes American Express

A not for profit restaurant boasting great food and service with the added bonus that the more you eat and drink the more you’re giving back to charity. 100% of the profits go towards ending global poverty. It’s best to go with the mentality of sharing so you get to try a bit of everything. The flatbreads and dips are great to start with then order a couple of the large plates and salads to share, the cauliflower is a must.
