He Says, She Says

Markets aside, cool isn't the adjective that jumps immediately to mind when you're talking Camberwell – a suburb where muggaccinos are still all the rage – but mark our words, things are changing. Cocktail house Bar None has re-opened with a bang, bringing craft beer bar East of Everything with it, and now He Says, She Says is adding the likes of chicken consommé with crab, young coconut and sorrel to the party. Michael Harrison is bashing the pans, a man who loves a bit of a flower forage and who has worked for Jeremy Strode, and done time at Attica with Ben Shewry. Café by day, restaurant and bar by night, the bright space of sandy woods with yellow accents looks to be a step in the right direction for this not-so-sleepy-anymore ‘burb.
