Time Out says

First it was Greasy Joe’s, then it was Joe’s Bar and Dining Hall - now 64-66 Acland Street has swapped Joe for pinxtos

Charles and Edward Sedgley – the brothers behind Barca Food & Wine and Lona Pintxos Armadale – are expanding their tapas empire with their third offering: a pinxtos bar lit with hot-pink neon on lively Acland Street. This is a family affair: the Sedgley brothers’ dad makes the quince paste using fruit from their trees in Metung; cheese comes from the award-winning Locheilan Farmhouse, owned by Charles' and Edward’s aunt and uncle; Sedgley & Sons wine and beer feature on the drinks menu. Try the signature slow-braised pork sliders with jalapeños and crackling, Manchego and leek croquetas with smoked aioli, and lamb ribs with cumin salt, Sauternes and minted yoghurt. Smokers, rejoice: the restaurant's al fresco area is being revamped (Charles reckons it will be ready in mid April) and is set to be one of St Kilda’s finest.
